Stephen Coltrane - Film and Video Editing and Post-Production

Welcome to Stephen's website.

I am a freelance editor with over six years' experience, based in West London. I have worked in a wide variety of genres: feature films, shorts, music videos, filmed theatre and videos for both the charity and the market research industries.

I do my editing on my own Final Cut Pro suite, using FCP Studio 2 on an Apple Mac Pro - although the emergence of the less professional Final Cut Pro X means I shall be switching over to Premiere Pro over time.

Visual effects production is carried out using After Effects and Photoshop CS5 and DVD authoring in DVD Studio Pro or Adobe Encore. This means I can offer virtually everything you need in post-production.

In addition to editing, I have organised and managed marketing operations for video productions. I also have experience of screenwriting, directing, camera operation and music composition and am about to take my first steps as a producer.
